A pair of five-color silkscreen prints on off-white linen depicting Wert’s interpretation of Pennsylvania “Dutch” folk art motifs featuring birds, flowers, and hearts. Likely first produced in the mid-1950’s, this pair appears with printed borders in the c.1960 brochure “Country Prints in Frames by Robert Darr Wert”; see images. This pair of prints is listed in the January 1960 Country Prints price list in a choice of antique birch or flat black frames, and appears in the c.1960 brochure “Country Prints in Frames Designed by Robert Darr Wert”; see images.
