Description

A spoon rack with a framed four-screen/seven-color tile triptych depicting items from an early American kitchen. Frame is natural birchwood with a clear satin finish, and an attached pegged spoon rack rabbeted to the back of the frame. Tile frames were offered in a choice of natural birchwood or black. This frame with recessed tiles is the earliest style of tile frame offered by Country Prints, c.1955. This spoon rack appears in the c.1955 brochure “Robert Darr Wert/Country Print Tiles”; see images.
