Description

Two Country Prints production samples retained as a company print record. Two five-color silkscreen prints on off-white linen depicting farm animals and espaliered trees and shrubs, one print supporting the Thoreau quote, “Rather than Love, than Money, than Fame, give me Truth”, and the other supporting a quote by Christopher Sauer, printer of the first European language Bible in North America (1743); see web link. Prints are dry mounted on single ply chipboard. This pair is listed singly in the Spring 1958 Country Prints price list.
