Description

A pot holder with a three-color silkscreen print on off-white linen depicting Wert’s interpretation of Pennsylvania “Dutch” flowers and birds. The potholder has an attached silkscreen printed tag stating, “Country Prints, Northfield, Mass” in gray ink. This was produced within the first two years of Country Prints’ founding. The print on this potholder is also used as one of eight cocktail napkins in the set Penn. Dutch 311; see images.
