The Wert family Christmas greeting for 1965. Wert usually produced a custom Christmas greeting each year to mail out to family, friends, retailers and suppliers. This example is from his Plowshares line of greetings cards, but bears a custom imprint with his family’s names inside.
A four-color silkscreen print on natural linen depicting an angel hovering above the word “Peace”, rendered in the manner of illuminated script. Linen print is glued into a dye cut Strathmore notecard in olive green.
This Christmas Greeting is from Country Prints’ Plowshares collection, a line of mostly Christian themed inspirational notecards and wallhangings.
