Description

A Country Prints production sample retained as a print record. A placemat with a four-color silkscreen print on natural linen depicting four hens, a chick, and a rooster superimposed with Wert’s interpretation of calico print patterns. The mat is bordered with a rickrack style wavy line. The napkin is a two-color print on natural linen depicting a rooster at lower right and a rectangular field of calico print at left. If this is Chickens 102, it is listed on a c.1951 Country Prints packing slip.
