Description

Five pieces of silkscreen printed camera-ready artwork for wholesale and retail signage with handwritten notations for finished sizes of reproductions. Art includes a smiling sun, a rooster, “BY HAND”, a manicule (pointing hand or printer’s fist), and a tag line. In addition to signage, the rooster and sun appear on the back cover of 1960’s Country Prints catalogs and the Kitchen Pockets cookbook. The sun, rooster, “BY HAND”, and manicule all appear on Country Print’s “Country Store” gift boxes of the same period.
