Gift Greeting 330: #1 Three KingsDescription
A six-color silkscreen print of off-white linen depicting the three kings on the night of Jesus’ birth.
The three kings stand under the night sky, holding their hands as if praying. One gazes at the Christmas star in the upper left corner. Smaller five-pointed stars scatter the sky. The kings are richly dressed in patterned robes in the traditional Christmas colors of green, red and gold, and wear golden crowns, each different.
This is a Gift Greeting, Country Prints’ line of unmounted prints available in folded cardstock note folders with envelopes for mailing or gift giving. This design was amongst the first eight Gift Greetings produced by Country Prints as described in a c.1955 price list, “330 Gift Greetings — for our first venture into the exciting greeting card field we have 8 of our very own colorful greetings in linen…”Made/Created
