A pair of five-color silkscreen prints on off-white linen depicting a village and a farm.
In the village scene, houses and buildings of different types overlap in elevation, interspersed with trees. At center, a boy rolls a hoop, and at the base a couple stands before an arched iron gateway with a lamp post.
In the farm scene, barns, silos, a chicken coop and farmhouses stand amongst trees. Farm animals populate a barnyard, a boy plays on a fence, and a horse and carriage sit before a farmhouse.
These prints are listed in the January 1960 Country Prints price list, and appear in the c.1960 brochure “Country Prints in Frames Designed by Robert Darr Wert”. Prints were produced in a choice of antique birch or flat black frames.
