Description

A Gift Greeting set comprised of four six-color silkscreen prints on white linen depicting Christmas scenes in an early American home. All four images are of themes explored repeatedly by Wert: holiday decorating, Christmas kitchen, partridge in a pear tree, and early instruments. A matching set of cocktail napkins was produced from the same screens. Gift Greetings was Country Prints’ line of unmounted prints that came in cardstock folios with envelopes for mailing or gift giving. This set appears on the Christmas 1960 Country Prints price list. This example is a sales sample used by Country Prints.
