Name/Title
Placemat, Napkin: Dotted Solid Color Rectangular NapkinsDescription
Solid color rectangular dinner napkins with a field of silkscreen printed black ovals. A small heart in one corner of each identifies these as Country Prints designs.
These dotted napkins were used to complement a number of Country Prints placemats and tablecloths. CP began using them c.1954 for the Calico Kitchen 130 and Calico Patch 131 placemat sets.
These colors are typical of the rich, saturated hues popular in the 1950’s. Edges are stitched in a matching color thread. Edges are hand fringed.Made/Created
