Description

A custom commission for the Washington State Apple Commission, most likely produced as gifts for the organization’s annual convention in 1958. A table runner with a five-screen silkscreen print on white linen depicting apples, baked goods, kitchen tools, and a country woman in eighteenth century dress supporting the phrase, “There’s many a way to use a Washington State apple every day.” A matching pack board was also produced for this runner. Edges are straight stitched and fringed.
