Four four-color silkscreen prints on natural linen. The compositions depict modern interpretations of rural scenes with a young girl, deer, hens, cows, a milkmaid, a ewe, and sculpted fruit trees.
This set is from Country Prints’ Gift Greeting line, a series of unmounted prints in cardstock note folders with envelopes for mailing or gift giving.
This set was also available as framed prints, “Pinks 66-1”, and as Country Print Tiles; see images.
In a c.1954 supplementary price list, the framed prints are described: “66-1 PINKS — Hens in trees, grazing cows, child with deer and milk-maid are the subjects of this group done in pink, mustard and blue green with bold pink borders in a simple rather contemporary black frame.
