A design patent held by Robert Darr Wert for a box clock with a decorative silkscreened linen face. This 1961 document assigns Wert’s patent to the General Electric Company (GE) for a term of seven years, during which GE produced the box clocks in three different designs (see “Clocks for General Electric” entries).
