Name/Title
Kitchen, Apron: Thanksgiving (TK)Description
An apron with a five-color silkscreen print on off-white linen depicting the traditional take on the first Thanksgiving feast between Native Americans and the English Pilgrims. At left, a ship awaits offshore (assumed to be the Mayflower, though it wouldn’t have been there). At right, a thatch-roofed house sits within a fenced yard. Between are people seated at a wood plank table, a woman tending lobster in a kettle, children playing with pumpkins, and a Native American man cleaning fish.
Country Prints also produced a towel/wallhanging for the Plimoth Plantation historic site; see “Towels/Wallhangings” entries.Made/Created
