A placemat set with two two-color silkscreen prints on off-white linen depicting Wert’s interpretation of a calico print. The placemat features a 2.5” wide blue and teal calico print border framing a rectangular white field. The napkin features a rectangular field of calico print placed asymmetrically at one end of the mat.
This placemat set is listed on the Spring 1958 Country Prints price list in four colorways.
This set retains the original brown Country Prints backing board, poly sleeve and silkscreened product tag.
