A four-color silkscreen print on off-white linen depicting a rooster and a hen on a split rail fence, a second hen pecking at feed, a sheaf of wheat and a smiling sun above the phrase “Good Morning” and a 1964 calendar.
A matching towel/wallhanging and tile were also produced; see images.
Country Prints produced this print for a brief time in the 1960’s. It is amongst dozens of Wert/Country Prints towel/wallhanging designs sold to Stevens Linen Associates, Inc., of Dudley, Massachusetts, c.1970. Stevens continued to produce these designs without the Wert/Country Prints identifiers throughout the 1970’s-80’s.Made/Created
