A five-screen/six-color silkscreen overglaze print on a glazed white tile blank depicting a New England shore scene featuring three types of shore birds, a sailboat, a lighthouse, a buoy attached to rope, and a dingy with an oar. The back of the dingy says “Shore Bird”, the name of the design.
This tile was a custom commission for the Massachusetts Audubon Society, and it matches a towel/wallhanging titled Shore Birds 221. They may have been sold as a pair to benefit the local Audubon chapter.Made/Created
