Two four-color silkscreen prints on off-white linen. One print depicts two roosters standing on fruiting branches, the other has four hens sitting on branches, flowers, and nesting material. The birds are superimposed with Wert’s interpretation of calico prints in lieu of feathers.
The prints of this pair measure 7” x 12” and may have been later produced as 6” x 12” prints with the names above which are listed in the Spring 1958 Country Prints price list.Made/Created
