Name/Title

Breadboard: Bread 401

Description

A five-color silkscreen print on a cabinetry-grade birch board depicting nine types of finished baked goods and the tools used to make them. The wood board has radiused lower corners and an arched top. A black painted stamped iron bracket acts as a hanger for display and a handle for serving. Square screws, stamped to look hand-forged, finish the look. The board has a clear sealer applied prior to silkscreening. This breadboard is listed on the Spring 1958 Country Prints price list. It is from Country Prints “Country Hearth” line of breadboards; see image of tag below.
