Description

A four-screen/five-color silkscreen underglaze print on a white tile blank depicting symbols of abundance under a furling banner with the text “Peace and Plenty”. Illustration includes: wheat and wildflowers, a breadboard with a loaf of bread, a slipware pitcher, a butter churn, a blown glass bottle, and a guitar. Originally produced c.1954, this example is printed on the thinner tile body used by Country Prints/Ceramo Studio from 1962 onward.
