Description

A Country Prints production sample retained as a print record. A placemat with a three-color silkscreen print on heavy textured natural linen depicting two weather vanes (a horse and a rooster), a radiant sun, and the partial weather forecast, “Fair and Warmer”. Though unlisted on the 1958 Country Prints price list, a table runner of the same name is listed. It is likely this placemat matches the undocumented table runner. Edges are straight stitched and fringed.
