Description

A six-color silkscreen print on off-white linen depicting three shepherds and their flock on the eve of Jesus’ birth. Beginning in an arch across the top of the composition and ending in a rectangle at the foot is a paraphrasing of Luke 2:8 from the King James Bible, “and there were - shepherds abiding in the field keeping watch over their flock” The complete quote is, “And there were in the same country shepherds abiding in the field, keeping watch over their flock by night”; see web link.
