Description

A Matted Greeting with a four-color silkscreen print on red linen depicting the hearth of an early American kitchen, with cooking tools, firewood, and an American eagle in silhouette against the brick chimney. This Matted Greeting appears in the Spring 1958 Country Prints price list as part of a new product line. Seventeen 7” x 9” matted prints were initially produced and included envelopes for mailing or gift giving. They were also available framed in black or natural frames. This example is a sales sample used at trade shows and/or Country Prints’ in-house retail shop.
