A four-color silkscreen overglaze print on a glazed white tile blank depicting five items of early American painted tin: two coffee pots, a tea kettle, a tea tin and a bowl with handles.
This tile appears in the brochures “Robert Darr Wert/Country Print Tiles”, c.1955, as Country Tin T-14, and in “Country Prints by Robert Darr Wert and Neighbors”, c.1963 and c.1966, as Country Tin 517; see images.
Originally designed c.1954, this example dates to c.1962-65.
