Description

A three-screen/four-color silkscreen print on off-white linen depicting an angel against a starry night sky. The angel points toward god and heaven with its left hand, and down toward earth with its right. The word, “Gloria”, appears below the angel. Linen print is glued within a dye cut Strathmore notecard in yellow. This Christmas Greeting is part of Country Prints’ Plowshares collection of mostly Christian themed inspirational notecards and wallhangings. This Christmas Greeting appears in the brochures “Fall and Christmas 1965, Robert Darr Wert/Country Prints”, and “Country Prints by Robert Darr Wert and Neighbors”, c.1966.
