A four-color silkscreen print on off-white linen depicting the plants and names of ‘Pot Herbs’ (herbs for stewing) set amongst cooking tools of a well-equipped early American kitchen.
At various times, this print was sold singly and as part of a set. It appears in the c.1955 brochure “Country Prints in Frames” as “Pot Herbs 612-7”, and in the c.1960 brochure, “Country Prints in Frames Designed by Robert Darr Wert”, as one of three prints titled, “Herbs 612-7”, along with “Salad Herbs” and “Tea Herbs”.
