Description

A placemat set with two two-color silkscreen prints on white linen depicting Wert’s interpretation of a calico print. The placemat features a 2.5” wide calico print border framing a rectangular white field. The napkin features a rectangular field of calico print placed asymmetrically at one end of the napkin. This placemat set is listed on the Spring 1958 Country Prints price list in four colorways: brown, aqua, pink, or blue. Edges are straight stitched and fringed.
