A three-color silkscreen print on natural linen depicting fifteen carved wooden butter molds and a butter paddle with a carved handle. Carvings depict symbols of health, abundance and national pride. The composition is bordered in Wert’s interpretation of a blue calico pattern of polka dots and six pointed stars within circles.
This print appears in the journal Design, Volume 55, Issue 2, 1955; see image below.
Print is dry mounted to single ply chipboard.
