A tablecloth with a silkscreen print depicting eagles, swags and flower motifs from an early American appliqué quilt. This tablecloth is listed in the January 1960 Country Prints price list in two sizes (52” x 52”, 52” x 72”), and in three colorways (blue, red, or brown). It also appears in the c.1960 brochure “Mat Sets by Robert Darr Wert/Country Prints”. Matching placemat sets in three colorways were also produced; see images. This example descended through the Wert family and is in the collection of Kathryn Zentner.
