This pair of prints is listed in the January 1960 Country Prints price list in a choice of antique birch or flat black frames, and appears in the c.1960 brochure “Country Prints in Frames Designed by Robert Darr Wert”; see images. This example was produced by Country Prints and published by the Artistic Picture Publishing Company of New York City, indicating Country Prints was using an outside company to distribute prints beyond the reach of their independent sales representatives.
