Design, silkscreens and underglaze colors produced at the Country Prints workshop in Gill, MA. Tile screen printing, glazing, firing and finishing produced by Ceramo Studio, NYC. This tile is printed on the thicker tile body used by Country Prints/Ceramo Studio prior to 1962. Found as a framed tile, the usual Country Print Tiles label hanger and cork pads were never applied.

Inscription/Signature/Marks

Front: “wert” with pink heart, lower right corner. Back: tile blank producer’s imprint, “WHEELING” and “56” for the year the blank was made.
