Description

A four color gouache painting on textured off-white paper depicitng four roosters superimposed with Wert’s interpretation of calico print patterns. Three roosters stand upon a trailing vine, the smallest stand on the largest rooster’s tail feathers. Hand drawn pencil guidelines and registration marks are evident. This painting was produced for one side of the apron Sourwood Mountain 420. Colors and imagery on the production apron are true to the original artwork.
