A four-color silkscreen print on natural linen depicting an angel hovering above the word “Peace”, rendered in the manner of illuminated script. Linen print is glued into a dye cut Strathmore notecard in olive green. This Christmas Greeting is from Country Prints’ Plowshares collection, a line of mostly Christian based inspirational notecards and wall hangings. This Christmas Greeting appears in brochures “Fall and Christmas 1965, Robert Darr Wert/Country Prints”, and “Country Prints by Robert Darr Wert and Neighbors”, c.1966, see images.
