A Country Prints production sample retained as a print record.
A four-screen/five color silkscreen print on natural linen depicting a country couple with tools of daily work, rural buildings, and a covered bridge. At the base of the composition is a quote from Shakespeare’s “As You Like It”, Act II, Scene 1. The barn, house, church and covered bridge appear to be adapted from buildings at historic Old Sturbridge Village in Massachusetts, an organization for which Country Prints produced at least two custom commissions (a towel/wallhanging and a calendar towel).
