Description

A Country Prints Plowshares silkscreen printed wallhanging with an attached paper calendar for 1965. The composition features the Lord’s Prayer in both Latin and English, presented in calligraphic script. The design continues under the stapled paper calendar so the hanging can be used after the year is over. Plowshares was Country Prints’ line of Christian-themed products, most of which were aimed at the Christmas market. Kitchen Pockets wallhangings and calendar hangings were introduced in 1964 for the Fall & Christmas retail markets. The attached calendars were dated for 1965.
