A Plowshares wallhanging with a five-color silkscreen print on natural linen depicting the word “Gloria” above an angel hovering above three shepherds and their sheep while holding a furling banner emblazoned with the the latin phrase, “in excelsis deo” from the Christian hymn known as the Angelic Hymn; see web link.
This wallhanging appears in the brochure “Country Prints by Robert Darr Wert and Neighbors”, c.1966. This is a design developed and signed by an unidentified freelance artist for Country Prints after Wert’s death in January 1966.
