A product tag featuring the Country Prints rooster trademark. The tag is a two-color letterpress print on flecked paper typically attached to table linens for retail sales. Tag is printed on the same paper as Country Prints letterhead used in the early-to-mid-1950’s. Designed c.1948 when operating from the Northfield studio, this tag with the Gill address was used from 1950 until c.1960.
Tag interior states, “Designed and hand printed by Robert Darr Wert. Only traditional decorative art forms were used to create this contemporary interpretation”, and, “For maximum color life launder by hand in mild soap solution”.Made/Created
