Description

A 1963 Wert family Christmas greeting comprised of a three-screen/four-color silkscreen print on linen within a textured white cardstock note folder. The note folder is printed with the Wert family names: Robert, Margaret, Sara Darr and Jerry. The linen print features an apple garland, a dotted and scalloped border, and a glass Christmas ornament held aloft by two birds. The imagery supports the King James Bible passage Matthew 6:21 (incorrectly labeled Matt. 4-21), “For where you treasure is there will your heart be also.” Wert used this passage and imagery in a wallhanging and calendar as well.
