Wallhanging, Christmas: Bell Hanging 720Description
A Christmas wallhanging with a silkscreen print on linen depicting a standing Santa Claus waving his right hand and holding a strap of sleigh bells in his left. Santa stands above the phrase, “Ring Out”. The lower end of the wallhanging is cut to a “V” point. A silver jingle bell is mounted at the point.
This wallhanging appears in the brochure “Fall and Christmas 1965, Robert Darr Wert/Country Prints”, and the c.1966 brochure “Country Prints by Robert Darr Wert and Neighbors”; see images.
Top edge is hemmed to accept a dowel rod for hanging, remaining edges are serged and bound.
