Name/Title

Runner: Village 213

Description

A five-color silkscreen print on natural linen depicting a densely constructed village with topiary trees. Two suns, a moon and stars tracking the passage of time. This runner is listed in the January 1960 Country Prints price list in one colorway (mustard, red, green and black), and appears in the c.1960 brochure “Mat Sets by Robert Darr Wert/Country Prints”, p.4. It is a pair with the Farm 212 table runner; see images. It is likely this was also produced as a framed print, but has not been documented.
