Bread print: Eight types of bread are illustrated with tools for making and serving baked goods, along with the first line of the Lord’s Prayer, “Give Us This Day Our Daily Bread”. Composition is finished with an orange border.
Herbs print: four types of fresh herbs are illustrated along with a large bottle, a tin pitcher, and a cooking spoon. At the base of the composition are the herb names, “Dill, Marjoram, Chive, Thyme.” Composition is finished with an orange border.
This pair of prints is listed singly in the Spring 1958 Country Prints price list as Bread 586-8 and Herbs 516-9, and appears in the c.1960 brochure “Country Prints in Frames by Robert Darr Wert” as Bread-Herbs 516-8 Pair.Made/Created
