A table runner with a five-color silkscreen print on off-white linen depicting over thirty examples of woodware found in a well equipped early American kitchen.
This table runner appears in the c.1954 brochure “Robert Darr Wert/Country Prints Kitchen Hangings” as No.224 Country Kitchen, and the c.1955 price list as 202 Woodenware. The price list states, “Pine furniture and Kitchen Utensils in colors to match Mat #122.”
The price list also advises, “Pure Linen Kitchen Runners and Towels, Nice enough to “Hang” or Frame — in fact we now offer any of these framed in a flat early black frame at $10.00.”
Edges are straight stitched and fringed.
