Description

A silkscreen print on linen depicting multiple items from a well-equipped early American kitchen. Implements illustrated include copperware, wrought and cast iron, glass, woodware, and painted tin. The composition is finished with a printed border. This print is listed in the January 1960 Country Prints price list in a choice of antique birch or flat black frames, and appears in the c.1960 brochure “Country Prints in Frames by Robert Darr Wert”, and is paired with “A Few Herbs 927-4”; see images. It was also produced as an unmounted wallhanging, Friendly Kitchen 253; see “Wallhangings” entries.
