A five-screen/six-color silkscreen print on off-white linen glued within a dye cut Strathmore notecard in orange. The image depicts Mary, Jesus, and Joseph holding hands while a bird of peace flies above.
This c.1965 composition is based on a print Wert produced for a 1958 desk calendar for the American Crayon Company of Sandusky, Ohio. The image is inspired by a 200 year old retable from New Mexico; see images.
