Cocktail napkins with four-color silkscreen prints on off-white linen depicting Wert’s interpretation of Pennsylvania “Dutch” folk art motifs of flowers, fruits, trees and hearts.
These cocktail napkins appear in the c.1955 brochure “I-Did-It-Myself Aprons by Robert Darr Wert/Country Prints”, and are described in a c.1955 price list, “311 Penn. “Dutch” — As described in the Farmed Prints but fringed and stitched on white linen, 7 x 9, Set of eight, each different.” As indicated, each design in the set was also produced as a framed print.
