A pair of five-screen/six-color silkscreen prints on off-white linen depicting four different early American rooster weathervanes, two per print, as well as ornamental ironwork and compass markers found on weathervanes.
These prints are listed in the January 1960 Country Prints price list, and appear in the c.1960 brochure “Country Prints in Frames Designed by Robert Darr Wert”. Prints were produced in a choice of antique birch or flat black frames.
This mounted print example descended through the Wert family and is in the collection of Kathryn Zentner.Made/Created
