This is a 1960’s reissue of a print first introduced c.1952. Changes made to this later version: yellow is removed from the halos and some detail is removed or refined in clothing; the “wert” signature becomes standardized, Helvetica is introduced as a tag line font, and the © symbol appears before “COUNTRY PRINTS”. The reissue also adds a rod pocket at the top edge to accept a dowel rod for hanging. This was likely reissued after Wert’s death in January 1966. See images for c.1952 version.Made/Created
