A c.1955 bi-fold Country Prints price list printed in a combination of silkscreen (red, teal, and brown inks) and offset printing (brown ink) on pebbled cream colored cardstock. The cover features the Country Prints trademark rooster, a trailing vine, a cast iron pot, along with the name and address for Country Prints’ sole agent, The Churchill Company of Greenfield, Massachusetts.
The price list promotes fourteen placemat sets, nine aprons, fourteen towels and runners, thirty framed prints, three luncheon squares, twenty tiles, three options for framed tiles, a spoon rack, and a breadboard with two inset tile options. The descriptions note two new placemat sets, a new buffet cloth with matching napkins, and the recent launch of the luncheon square product line. Also, the “Pure Linen Kitchen Runners and Towels, Nice enough the “Hang” or Frame — in fact we now offer any of these framed in a flat black early frame at $10.00.”
The accompanying one-sheet Supplementary Price List promotes two placemat sets, one table runner, three sets of cocktail napkins, Gift Greetings, three Christmas towel/hangings, and almost three dozen framed prints. It announces the launch of the Gift Greeting line with eight prints in Christmas themes. A new “wider molding” is offered on selected framed prints.
