Tile Sample: Jugs T-9

Description

A sales sample with a four-color silkscreen print on glossy white cardboard depicting six examples of decorated slipware. This tile sample was printed on cardboard to ease the burden of weight for Country Prints’ independent sales representatives. Edges are bound with black adhesive tape similar to other known Country Prints sales samples. This tile design appears in the c.1955 brochure “Robert Darr Wert/Country Print Tiles”; see images. This sample is from Country Prints’ independent west coast sales representative Ruth Gauss Flynn.
